COMMUNITY CONSULTATION REGISTER

Council is establishing a Community Central Consultation Register so that members of our community can register their interest in participating in focus group and other consultative opportunities. All you need to do to be included is fill in a registration form and return it to Council. Forms are available from Council’s Customer First Centre, all branches of the Shire Library, or online at www.kempsey.nsw.gov.au (go to Communications, then Forms Index (Alpha), and you’ll find under ‘C’, Central Consultation Register).

NO BREAKABLES PLEASE

If you are placing flowers at any of the Shire’s cemeteries please remember that no glass containers, ceramics or solar lights are permitted. Glass containers break easily and this presents a danger to visitors and Council staff who maintain the cemetery grounds. Your assistance in this would be appreciated.

Alcohol Free Zones aim to reduce alcohol-related crime and anti-social behaviour in identified locations to assist in creating a safer environment for our residents, businesses and visitors.

Commencing on Tuesday, 1st July 2008, 24 hour, 7 days per week Alcohol Free Zones will become effective within the Kempsey Central Business District, and selected streets within South Kempsey and West Kempsey residential areas for a period of three (3) years.
