Renew our Libraries campaign banner

Renew Our Libraries campaign

Kempsey Shire Library and its branches at South West Rocks, Stuarts Point, and Hat Head provide a vital service to the Macleay Valley community through regular events, borrowing services, literacy support and access to technology.

NSW public libraries receive over 35 million visits a year, but State Government recurrent funding has not increased to match the demand. The NSW Public Libraries Association and Local Government NSW ‘Renew Our Libraries’ funding campaign is advocating for the NSW Government to reverse any funding cuts to NSW libraries.

Please show your support for NSW public libraries by going to www.renewourlibraries.com.au  and signing up to the ‘Renew Our Libraries’ campaign.
