Weekly works schedule

This week our crews will be working on:

Gladstone Memorial Park construction ontinnues this week
  • Bridge construction/maintenance: Commence removal and replacement of decking at Connection Creek
  • Flood mitigation maintenance: Continue maintenance of Clancy’s Drain; commence refurbishment of Euroka Creek floodgates; drain spraying of Clancy’s Drain, Slaughterhouse Drain, Andersons Drain
  • Drainage/kerb/footpath maintenance: Complete stages 2 and 3 of Kemp Street, West Kempsey kerb and gutter replacement
  • Bitumen road resealing/maintenance: Works on South West Rocks Road and Greenhill area to commence; pavement edge repairs to commence on Baker Drive and Loftus Road
  • Bitumen road construction/rehabilitation: Continue with shoulder widening, extend drainage pipes and commence concrete dish drain on Summers Lane, Summer Island; install precast traffic islands and planting on median at Lachlan Street, South Kempsey (Middleton Street roundabout)
  • Gravel resheeting: Grade and shape pavement and commence gravel placement on Warbro Brook Road
  • Gravel road maintenance grading: Complete Brassils Creek Road and Verges Creek Road grading; commence Point Plomer Road grading
  • Roadside slashing: South Kempsey area, Stuarts Point Road, Dungay Creek Road, Gowings Hill Road and Plummers Lane
  • Open Space operations: Middleton Street, South Kempsey roundabout works to complete; continue Gladstone Memorial Park footpath construction and prepare playground for opening; commence line removal on Macleay Valley Way; continue installation of footings for Frederickton Gateway Sculpture installation
