‘Picitup’ kits now available at Council

Free ‘Picitup’ kits are now being offered by Kempsey Shire Council for locals keen to do their bit and help keep our community clean and tidy of litter.

The kits support people to rid local areas of litter by providing clean up gear such as a handmade Boomerang shoulder-bag, four litter sacks, two pairs of gloves and a Picitup information booklet to help record key information.

Residents, schools and community groups are encouraged to take the kit with them on their walks to collect litter. Using the information booklet, residents can then record what they collect before putting the waste into public bins or bins at home.

Picitup kits are available from Council’s Customer Service Centre, located at 22 Tozer Street, West Kempsey
