Fly Neighbourly Advice on public exhibition
The Fly Neighbourly Advice (FNA) is a voluntary code of practice established between the Kempsey Airport, aircraft operators and the community.
The intention of the FNA is to assist with the minimisation of noise nuisance experienced by the Airport’s neighbours through observance of Fly Neighbourly Principles by both itinerant and visiting aircraft to Kempsey Airport.
The draft FNA is available to review from Council’s Tozer Street office and online at yoursay.macleay.nsw.gov.au/fna_nmp
Submissions close on Friday 22 November 2019 and must be made in writing either via Your Say Macleay, emailed to ksc@kempsey.nsw.gov.au to the attention of the General Manager or posted to PO Box 3078 West Kempsey 2440

Bikes, Brakes & BBQ

As part of Motorcycle Awareness Month, Kempsey Shire Council and Roads and Maritime Services are inviting local motorcycle riders to this free bike safety check and breakfast at South Kempsey Park on Friday 15 November.
Come along and have your bike checked, enjoy a free barbecue breakfast and meet fellow motorcycle enthusiasts. The first 35 riders will receive a motorcycle toolkit and neck warmer!
This event is proudly supported by Macleay Valley Automotive & Matt’s Windscreens and Fredo Pies.
Motorcyclists will be asked to show their licence at the event.

Weekly works schedule

Council’s bridge infrastructure program is currently delivering on two major projects - the construction of a new footbridge at Back Creek, South West Rocks and the replacement of Turners Flat Bridge.
This week installation of headstocks, prefabricated spans and effluent pipe will continue as part of the new Back Creek
footbridge works. Formation of deck slab spans 4-6 will take place at Turners Flat Bridge.
