	BUSHFIRE DANGER PERIOD

	Kempsey Shire residents are advised that the Bushfire Danger Period will be introduced on 1 September 2008. As a result permits will be required after midnight on the 31 August 2008. To obtain a permit you can contact your local permit issuing officer or phone Kempsey Fire Control on 6562 1964. This is a permanent variation for Kempsey Shire.
