Search for Grave Locations

To carry out a search for grave locations the following information is needed:-

The full name of the deceased you are looking for, an approximate date of death, or any other cross referencing information you may know.

There is a fee of A$14 per allotment / or deceased. This covers the search and provision of the information from our records. Council received control of the cemeteries in this Shire in 1967 and unfortunately due to records not being complete there are some unknown / unmarked graves.

Provision of photo images of the allotment. A colour image of an allotment can be provided for an additional A$12.50 (detailing any monument or inscription). The images will be sent with our reply, but they can also be sent electronically if you prefer.

Council accepts cash or cheque over the counter. Office hours are 8.30 am – 4.30 pm Monday to Friday. The office is closed on weekends and public holidays.

There is no cemetery record list for general sale or a search facility on our website.
