Kempsey Shire Council is the proud sponsor of the Graffiti Blasters who are increasing civic pride in the Macleay Valley. Keep an eye out for the specially equipped vehicle and our volunteers who are blasting graffiti from our community.
With over 5,600 graffiti tags and marks removed in the last 12 months it is safe to say Kempsey Shire Council’s Graffiti Blasters have had a busy first year.
The Graffiti Blasters initiative relies on community members reporting graffiti. To be an active part of your community contact the Council on 6566 3200 to report graffiti in your area.
Kempsey Shire Council has funded the multi coloured blasting vehicle and the equipment needed to get program up and running. Council will continue to sponsor the graffiti blasters by providing resources to ensure graffiti is cleaned from our community areas.
