Granite Creek is a spring fed permanently flowing tributary characterised by small to massive granite boulders, pristine clear, crisp water and pockets of rainforest.

The pebbly-sandy creek bed sparkles with fools gold and there is an abundance of Birds Nest Ferns, Staghorns, a lush and vibrant ecosystem on the forest floor and giant forest trees.

There are no walking trails or other evidence of human impact. There are numerous deep waterholes in which to cool off.
