Roads and bridges status report

Sports fields status

  • The South West Rocks field is open.
  • The Smithtown sporting field has reopened however, users must stay clear of the north eastern corner.
  • All other fields are closed.

Current status of roads and bridges

  • Dungay Creek causeway is closed.
  • Euroka Road/Theresa Street are open.
  • Gladstone Street , Kempsey is open.
  • Crescent Head Road is open.
  • Bellbrook, Toorooka, Temagog, Turners Flat and Sherwood bridges are open.
  • Maria River Road is open.
  • Second Lane is open.
  • Seale Road is closed.
  • Dowlings Falls Road is closed.

Other roads may still be affected. Motorists should exercise extreme caution on all local roads until repairs have been carried out.

Residents and motorists are reminded to:

  • Drive to the conditions of the day
  • Listen to local radio stations for updates and advice
  • Never ride, drive or walk through floodwater
  • Call the SES on 132 500 for emergency help in floods and storms
