Kempsey Library has installed a new computing facility called the Seniors’ Computer Kiosk. The newly created area includes two computers with broadband internet access, tables with disability access and comfortable seating.

The library has nine computers with internet access. The addition of the two new computers in the kiosk area will give adults, 50 years and over, their own special area. It will provide a friendly environment where senior library members can come and learn basic computer and internet skills, access the web, stay in touch with friends and family and share photos.

All interested people are invited to the launch of the Seniors’ Computer Kiosk at 10.30am on Wednesday, 14 October 2009.

Come along and meet with other seniors who are venturing onto the information superhighway for the first time!
