Council advises that the following works will be undertaken in November 2011.

Road resealing works – South West Rocks

Road resealing works will be undertaken along Gregory Street, South West Rocks between 7am to 5pm commencing Monday 7 November 2011 until Friday 11 November 2011, weather permitting.

The work will be carried out between Frank Cooper Street and Paragon Avenue and Memorial Avenue, between McIntrye Street and Landsborough Street.

Traffic control will be in place to direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic through or around the work site during working hours. It is expected that minor delays will occur. Pedestrian and motorists are asked to exercise caution at all times when approaching and travelling through the proposed work.

Dungay Creek culvert replacement – Dungay Creek Road

Dungay Creek Causeway, on Dungay Creek Road, will be closed from 8am on Monday 14 November 2011 until 3pm Friday 16 December 2011 to allow for replacement of culverts in the causeway, weather permitting. A sidetrack will be provided for one way traffic. Traffic control measures will be in place to control vehicle movements through the work site during working hours.

Christmas Creek Bridge replacement – Jacks Crossing Road

Christmas Creek Bridge, on Jacks Crossing Road, will be closed from 8am on Monday 14 November 2011 until 3pm Friday 16 December 2011 to allow for replacement of the Christmas Creek Bridge, weather permitting. Jacks Crossing Road can be accessed from Armidale Road and Chain O Ponds Road. The bridge will be closed to all traffic during the above period.
