Kempsey Shire Council - Flood update #13

Roads and bridges

• Council crews are working to restore flood damage to the Dungay Creek causeway construction site on Dungay Creek Road. It is expected that temporary repairs to the causeway will be completed and the road will be re-opened to traffic by 7.30pm tonight (29/11/11). Drivers are requested to use extreme caution until the work is completed.
• Second Lane at North Kempsey has been re-opened to traffic but there is significant pavement damage so drivers should exercise caution.
• Gladstone Street, Kempsey remains closed at the railway underpass.
• Theresa Street South Kempsey remains closed
