Ordinary Council meetings are held every third Tuesday of each month at 9.00 am in the Council Chambers, Civic Centre, corner Elbow and Tozer Streets, West Kempsey.
Matters to be considered by Council must be submitted to the General Manager at least 10 days prior to the meeting date.
Copies of the meeting agenda may be inspected at the Civic Centre, or at the Library from the Friday prior to the meeting or on the website on the Friday preceding the meeting http://www.kempsey.nsw.gov.au/agendas_minutes.htm.
Members of the general public are invited to attend Council meetings and, with the prior approval of the Mayor, may address Council in the Public Forum Session on specific topics. Guidelines for Addressing Council and Application Form to Address Council.
Under Council's Code of Meeting Practice, and also under Section 47 of the Regulation, people are prohibited from tape recording or videoing a meeting of Council without first seeking permission from Council. |
