The following locations are disposal points for syringes and sharps.
120 litre sharps disposal bins:
- the grassed area of the Stuart Street Kempsey car park near the access ramp into the Action Supermarket
- the Council carpark on the corner of Paragon Avenue and Gregory Street, South West Rocks near the computerised toilet, and
- the Council carpark opposite the Country Club in Crescent Head
50 litre plastic drum containers:
- Yarrahapinni Community House, Stuarts Point
- Hat Head Caravan Park
- Bellbrook Health Outpost
- near the public toilets at the Sports Grounds at Willawarrin
One litre metal containers will be located in public toilets at:
- South Kempsey Park, Kempsey
- Rudder Street Park, Kempsey
- Riverside Park, Kempsey
- next to the Taxi Rank in Belgrave Street, Kempsey
- Clyde Street Mall in Kempsey at the day visitor area at Crescent Head reserve
- Delicate and Racecourse reserves, and
- at the "bottom block" at Horseshoe Bay, South West Rocks.
