In an attempt to minimise delays over the Christmas New Year Period for traffic travelling through Kempsey on the Pacific Highway, the NSW Roads and Traffic Authority, in consultation with Kempsey Shire Council and the NSW Police Force, will implement a traffic management strategy for periods when traffic flows are anticipated to be higher than normal.

To assist traffic flow on the highway, no right turn will be allowed from Smith Street into Belgrave Street, Kempsey from 7am on the following days.

• Saturday 18 December 2010
• Wednesday 22 December 2010 to Tuesday 4 January 2011

It is possible that if traffic volumes demand these traffic arrangements may be implemented on additional days.
