Domestic Waste
Domestic or household waste services are briefly outlined below.
- All general domestic waste will be collected weekly in the 140 litre red lidded bin. A larger 240 litre bin is available upon request (request form in pdf format below). This weekly collection includes the rural services.
- All recycling will be collected in the 240 litre yellow lidded bin on a fortnightly pickup.
- The “green waste” service is only operational in designated “urban” areas of towns and villages. This bin, a 240 litre bin, is identified by a bright green lid. The availability of this service is set by the rating section of Kempsey Shire Council. The pickup of this service will be on the opposite week to the recycling pickup.
