Landfill (Waste Management Centre)

Kempsey Shire Council operates one major landfill and three transfer sites. The sites operate at various times and are closed on some public holidays. The opening times for the Waste Management Centre (WMC) on Crescent Head Road are shown below.

Sorted recyclables will be accepted free of charge excluding televisions and computer monitors where a fee of $5.00 per unit is applicable.

Waste oil is accepted free in non-commercial quantities.

Materials accepted at the WMC include paint, chemicals and asbestos but only paint can be accepted at the other transfer stations.
