Student Exchange Program

Talk to Southern Cross Cultural Exchange about their student exchange programSouthern Cross Cultural Exchange is seeking volunteer families to host high school students from Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Finland, Brazil, Norway, Spain, Sweden and Holland. Students usually arrive early-July for 5 or 10 months, depending on the program.

Local students, who are eligible, leave September or February for 3, 5 or 10 months. Japan requires the students to have moderate Japanese in both literacy and spoken, while all other countries do not have these conditions.

Southern Cross Cultural Exchange has assisted 6000 international students to be integrated into Australian communities and sent over 7000 Australian students overseas. Kempsey Shire households are invited to open up their homes and their hearts to host a student. These students will be part of your family; they assist at home, go to school, go to the beach, go on your holiday, etc.

Trained local representatives of Southern Cross Cultural Exchange are available to assist in every area and its office is open every hour of every day. Opportunities are also available for local students wishing to enroll for the exchange program to represent their hometown, community and country.
