Kempsey Shire Council is adjusting the way we work and support our community and local businesses in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are constantly reviewing our response to the situation.

COVID-19 financial support

The NSW Government has programs, grants and rebates to support NSW businesses, including:

COVID-19 information for accounting and tax practitioners

On 28 July 2021, the NSW Government announced that eligibility for the JobSaver program would be extended to include businesses with an annual turnover of between $75,000 and $250 million, up from $50 million, which have experienced a revenue decline of 30 percent or more.

These changes are in addition to the range of NSW Business Support Packages announced earlier this month.
