Public exhibition: Draft Voluntary Planning Agreement - 600 Macleay Valley Way Highway Service Centre

Notification is given in accordance with Section 7.5 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 of Council’s intent to enter into the following planning agreement.

600 Macleay Valley Way Highway Service Centre Planning Agreement

Developer: Spectrum REIT 23 Pty Ltd

Landowner: Ms G V Norton

The developer and landowner have offered to enter into a planning agreement with Kempsey Shire Council to support a planning proposal (rezoning) to allow development of the above site for a highway service centre. The planning agreement provides for the developer to fund the water and sewer infrastructure required for future development of the site.

The planning agreement is available for inspection on Council’s website at www.kempsey.nsw.gov.au/public-exhibition until the close of business Monday 25 January 2021.

Point Plomer Road

Grading works - Point Plomer Road

After initial delays due to rain, maintenance grading works of Point Plomer Road will continue this week, weather permitting.

Residents and visitors are advised to drive to the conditions and not to drive on the road shoulders. Traffic control will be in place for the duration of the works.

Tech Savvy Seniors

Tech Savvy Seniors is a learning initiative that will assist seniors who have limited or no experience in using technology to learn new skills, access information online and stay connected with their community.

South West Rocks Waste Transfer Station Saturday opening hours

Council wishes to advise of a minor adjustment in the hours of operation for the SWR Waste Transfer Station.

From Saturday 6th February the facility will be open between 12:15pm and 3:15pm.
