Boyters Lane Wetland

This project has involved the design and construction of two stormwater management wetlands to treat runoff from a proposed nearby playing field site. With the assistance of Rotary, a vegetation buffer between the proposed playing fields and the wetlands has been completed with in excess of 3,000 endemic rainforest tree species planted, along with the design and construction of a ‘bird hide’. Further revegetation works to rehabilitate and regenerate the natural lowland rainforest characteristics of the area have also commenced.
