Agribusiness support

The Macleay Valley is a fertile food farming region with a rich agricultural history in beef, dairy and food production.

Today, our celebrated local produce includes beef, dairy, poultry, eggs, fish, oysters, fruit, chillies, garlic and honey, and the Macleay Valley has been identified as an emerging hub for Australian certified organic produce.

Read our Agribusiness Industry Plan 2021-2026(PDF, 2MB) or visit the Macleay Valley Food Bowl website for a list of the agricultural growers in the valley.
