Surf life saving patrols

Kempsey Shire boasts beautiful beaches which are enjoyed all year round by residents and visitors.

Council traditionally provides a lifeguard service during peak periods.

The surf life saving season runs from September to April. During this time, local surf life saving clubs provide volunteer surf life saving services on weekends and public holidays at some beaches.
