Surf life saving patrols
Kempsey Shire boasts beautiful beaches which are enjoyed all year round by residents and visitors.
The surf life saving season runs from September to April. Please note the current season will finish 25 April.
During the life saving season Council provides a lifeguard service during peak holiday periods, and local surf life saving clubs provide volunteer surf life saving services on weekends and public holidays at some beaches.
Council lifeguard service update
Council's lifeguard service will resume in the Autumn NSW school holidays.
Beach patrol calendar
This patrol calendar applies to the NSW autumn holiday period. The calendar may change without notice.
