Virroa Mite Emergency Zone declared Published on 28 June 2022 Due to the detection of the Virroa Mite in sentinel hives in the Port of Newcastle, a stand still order has been declared as of 27 June 2022. This means hives must not be moved if they are in the state of NSW regardless if NSW is not their residence.
