Food Vendor Expression of Interest

Council is hosting several large-scale public events during 2023 and is seeking interest from food vans and food vendors.  

The first event for 2023 is the Macleay Music Muster, being held at the Kempsey Showgrounds on Saturday 4 March 2023.

  • Expected numbers for this event are 3500 + people
  • All stalls will be outside
  • Price per stall for this event - $50 per stall

  • The gates for the Macleay Music Muster will open to the general public at 2:30pm, with music commencing at 4pm and concluding at 8:30pm

  • Site plan and bump in time for food vendors details will be provided one week prior to event

  • Successful applicants will be notified in writing

Applications will be assessed by a range of criteria including: 

  1. Menu options: We aim to have a broad range of food and drink options at our event/s  

  2. Affordability: We will have a broad range of members of the community attending event/s. We encourage food vendors to have menu items at a broad range of price point  

  3. Sustainable Practices: Vendors with sustainable practices around packaging and straws will be highly regarded  

  4. Local / Regional Suppliers: We encourage and support businesses from the Kempsey LGA and surrounding LGA’s
