Engineering Guidelines for Subdivision and Development

Introduction

The Engineering Guidelines for Subdivision and Development are a regional version of Aus-Spec #1 Design and Construction Development Specification series prepared in consultation with the IPWEA Mid North Council’s user group and Council’s Engineering Department.

The Engineering Guidelines for Subdivision and Development are made of three parts, being:

1. Aus-Spec #1 - Development Specification Series - Design
2. Aus-Spec #1 - Development Specification Series - Construction
3. Aus-Spec #1 - Development Specification Series - Standard Drawings

These series of documents are expanded below.

The Engineering Guidelines for Subdivision and Development provide a range of specifications to ensure consistency and provide a minimum standard for all design and construction activities in the Kempsey Shire.

The Engineering Guidelines for Subdivision and Development are referred to throughout the Kempsey Comprehensive Development Control Plan 2013.
