Community Strategic Plan

Council’s Community Strategic Plan(PDF, 1MB) (CSP) is the cornerstone of our long-term planning under the Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP&R) framework.

It captures the community’s vision, aspirations, and priorities for the next 20 years, and is developed through extensive community engagement. The CSP is not just a council document—it belongs to the whole community and reflects shared goals across social, environmental, economic, and civic leadership themes.

The current CSP was updated and formally adopted by Council in May 2025. While Council is responsible for facilitating the development of the plan and aligning its operations with the community’s long-term vision, implementation of the CSP is a shared responsibility.

Achieving the outcomes outlined in the plan requires collaboration across all sectors—government, business, community organisations, and residents alike.
