Long Term Financial Plan

Our Council’s Long-Term Financial Plan (LTFP)(PDF, 1MB) is a key element of the Resourcing Strategy under the Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP&R) framework. It provides a ten-year financial outlook that helps ensure we can sustainably deliver the services, infrastructure, and projects identified in our Community Strategic Plan and Delivery Program.

The LTFP includes forecasts of income, expenditure, cash flow, and financial position, and is based on informed assumptions about future economic conditions, service levels, and asset needs.

As outlined in the IP&R Guidelines, the LTFP supports sound decision-making by aligning our financial capacity with community priorities, helping Council manage risks, plan for future challenges, and maintain long-term financial sustainability.

The Long Term Financial Plan is a 10-year plan, that is updated annually.
