Council Graduate and Apprenticeship roles now open

We are looking for a fresh batch of young residents to kickstart their careers at Kempsey Shire Council as trainees, apprentices, cadets and graduates in 2024.
Council offers a range of pathways to full-time work for young people who are leaving school and going onto further study or have completed their tertiary education. These opportunities are unique in the way that successful applicants will gain real-world experience while studying at the same time.
Apprenticeships and Traineeships
Gaining nationally recognised qualifications while learning the tools of the trade on the job is a valuable experience for many school leavers. Apprentice and trainee roles help equip young people to learn practical skills while completing their studies.
