Healthy Dog Day returns for 2024

Healthy Dog Day is on again at South Kempsey Park (next to the Museum) on Saturday 17 February from 9am - 2pm.

An initiative from Friends of Kempsey Pound, you can bring your dog along to get a free:

  • Parvac Vaccination
  • Flea & Tick Treatment
  • Worming
  • Microchipping

Animal Rescue Cooperative (ARC) will have wet and dry dog and cat food on hand.

Our last event was in November, so if you attended then, your furry friend will be due again for flea, tick and worming.

Call by to collect another dose to make sure they are protected from fleas and ticks and any mites that may be hanging around.

Everyone is welcome - please bring your dog to this event.

Please keep social distance between dogs if they don't live together, we don't want any unplanned arguments or disagreements between pooches.

Please ensure dogs are on leads, if you haven't got one, we have spare ones to lend you.

If your dog isn’t social, they can be treated in your vehicle.
