Horseshoe Bay Holiday Park is embracing a new look with the installation of six modern tiny homes, marking a fresh era for one of the area’s most loved holiday spots. Replacing five aged cabins and a caravan site, as identified in the Horseshoe Bay Holiday Park Concept Plan, this upgrade offers guests a contemporary accommodation option, keeping the park vibrant and in tune with the trend toward sustainable, compact living.
The installation process will begin with four of the six tiny homes being positioned by crane in the first two weeks of November. To facilitate this, there will be some changes to traffic flow along Ocean Street. Council and the Cabin Contractor have worked with local businesses and residents to ensure they are prepared for any potential disruptions and is grateful for the community’s understanding.
The tiny home project has been ongoing since May 2024, with a range of preparatory works already completed. Essential steps such as replacing poles and wires, removing old cabins and slabs, setting out locations for the new tiny homes, relocating inground services, and preparing the site have all paved the way for a smooth installation process.
The project reinforces the Council’s commitment to keeping Horseshoe Bay Holiday Park a top choice for both locals and tourists seeking a memorable stay.
Stay tuned for updates on the tiny home installations and the opening of these new cabins, ready to welcome guests soon.
