Temporary repairs to the water main at Ryans Cut at Crescent Head have begun after it was damaged in recent flooding, with rehabilitation works expected to take one week.

In order to do the work, an area on the south side of Ryans Cut has been set aside to support construction, with no access permitted while the work is taking place.

Council is currently preparing a design for the rehabilitation of Ryans Cut channel bank, as well as the reinstatement of Loftus Road across Ryan's Cut, after it was damaged by the flood. Loftus Road remains closed north and south of Ryans Cut.

Please take heed of any signage or instructions on the worksite for your safety, and we will work to keep you informed of next steps with Ryans Cut and Loftus Road.
