Youth Week to come alive in Kempsey
Published on 17 April 2023
Don’t miss out on having a blast with your mates at Youth Week. There's a jam-packed line up of awesome activities for you, your friends and your family to enjoy.
From sports and gaming to visual arts and music writing, there's something for everyone to enjoy during celebrations from 20 to 30 April 2023.
The highlight of Youth Week in Kempsey is undoubtedly the Macleay Youth Laneway Festival, scheduled to take place on Saturday April 22 from 2pm until 6pm.
The festival promises an action-packed afternoon with an array of attractions for all to enjoy. Dance to your own beat at the silent disco, be mesmerised by the fire twirling and light show, challenge yourself on the rock climbing wall, or test your putting skills at the 9-hole putt putt golf course.
In addition, local eateries will be open, and food trucks will be on-site offering a delectable range of options to satisfy hungry festival-goers.
What makes the Macleay Youth Laneway Festival even more special is the venue itself. The festival will take place in the newly revitalised Elringtons and Savages laneways and Clyde Street in Kempsey's CBD, adding a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere to the event.
It's a fantastic opportunity for young people to explore and enjoy the transformed laneways while having a great time with friends and fellow community members. Everyone is welcome.
One of the best things about Youth Week events is that they are free, making them accessible to all people in the community. It's a chance to have fun, connect with others, and celebrate the youth culture in Kempsey.
Mark your calendars and make sure to attend the Macleay Youth Laneway Festival on 22 April for an unforgettable experience.
