Local oyster farmers step up to clean up

 

Our oyster farmers have a close relationship with their local environment. Removing rubbish they find floating in the river is part of the job. The Tide to Tip event helps remove marine debris and litter that washes into the river and raises awareness about the importance of a healthy river system.

 

Council is also offering free waste disposal for all eligible groups stepping up to clean up for Clean Up Australia Day.
