New additions coming for Crescent Head Holiday Park
Published on 26 November 2025
To welcome more visitors and support the local economy, 11 new cabins, one, two, and three bedroom options, will be added to ‘Area 8’ Crescent Head Holiday Park. These modern cabins will enhance the park’s appeal and provide more choices for holidaymakers.
The upgrade follows the adopted Crescent Head Holiday Park revised concept plan. The tender for the works is open, with construction starting next year and completion expected during the 2026–27 financial year. As part of the works, the aging amenities block near Reserve Road will be demolished.
Funded through Council’s Crown Lands reserve, the project will generate significant revenue for Council and Macleay Valley Coast Holiday Parks, reinvested into improving both Council-owned holiday parks and Council-managed Crown Land sites across the shire.
This investment strengthens Crescent Head’s position as a premier destination on the Macleay Valley Coast, creating more opportunities for families, couples, and groups to enjoy the region while supporting local businesses.
