Celebrating Success: Recap of the 2023 Small Business Expo Event

The Small Business Expo Event was a resounding success, made possible by a NSW Government grant and hosted at the Great Northern Hotel on the 10 October 2023.  This year’s event brought together small businesses, start up businesses and industry experts.  It was a great opportunity for networking, knowledge sharing and inspiration.

One of the highlights of the expo was multi award winning keynote speaker Jane Hillsdon from Dragonfly Marketing, Jane’s topic was “How to create high-impact marketing on a small budget”.  Jane’s presentation was highly motivating, informational and gave attendees insights on how to maximise impact for their businesses in trying times as well as generously giving everyone a free copy of her book.

Attendees networked and received information from business trade stall who offered valuable takeaways, industry experts such as financial management, marketing, business banking, TAFE, Apprenticeship/trainee advice, legal, and Service NSW for business.

2 lucky attending businesses won a Business Photo shoot from TDK Photography, congratulations to Beau Lady and Macleay Shuttle Services.

Feedback from the day from business attendees and business stall holders was nothing but positive, with connections and further appointments made to help businesses further.
