The newly refurbished Stuarts Point Water Reservoir will come back online on Thursday 16 September after upgrades to guarantee the longevity of the asset.
The upgrades include the installation of a system to protect the tank against corrosion and recoating the internal surfaces to prevent the premature failure of the reservoir.
Ongoing operational maintenance of the reservoir will see the tank’s lifecycle last beyond 30 years.
The reservoir stores water that is supplied to the Stuarts Point, Grassy Head and Fisherman’s Reach communities.
