As part of Kempsey Shire Council’s Integrated Planning and Reporting framework, a series of draft documents have been progressively released for public exhibition and community feedback via Your Say Macleay. Now open for feedback are the Draft Delivery Program 2025–2029, Operational Plan 2025/26 and supporting documents.

In the March Council meeting, Councillors considered three draft documents: the Community Strategic Plan 2045, the Community Engagement and Participation Strategy, and the Flood Policy, as well as three potential grant applications for the Disaster Ready Fund, and a proposal to form a First Nations Council Advisory Group.

Rate rise conversation tops the agenda at February Council meeting
