The Accidental Counsellor workshop offers a great set of skills for those moments when you might least expect to be called upon in a caring capacity.

When people work within their communities, for their communities, we may find ourselves to be the first point of contact for someone in crisis and needing assistance.

Participants in this workshop gain a greater understanding of how to communicate more effectively, to be able to support safely and effectively, someone in distress or experiencing crisis. It is an open course with no pre-existing skills or knowledge required.
