The 2025 National Reconciliation Week theme, "Bridging Now to Next", highlights the ongoing connection between past, present and future. It calls on all of us to learn from history and continue push towards a more united and reconciled Australia.
We all have a role to play when it comes to reconciliation and in playing our part we collectively build relationships and communities that value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories, cultures and futures.
We acknowledge the land of the Thunggutti/Dunghutti Nation. We pay respect to Elders past and present. We acknowledge the role of emerging leaders to continue to guide us in the future. We acknowledge the Stolen Generations and the need to change practices to be inclusive. This land always was and always will be Thunggutti/Dunghutti land.
