National Tree Day giveaway

We’re giving away native trees and shrubs together with Planet Ark and Macleay Landcare to celebrate National Tree Day.

Residents, please come along on Friday 25 July and join us at South West Rocks or Kempsey Shire Library to claim your tree or shrub, as well as information on caring for natives.

We can all make a difference to our environment by planting a tree.

Please note, no orders are being taken, it will be a first come, first served basis.

About National Tree Day

National Tree Day and School Tree Day  was started in 1996 by Planet Ark and have grown into Australia’s largest community tree planting and nature care events.

Over 27 million trees have been planted since 1996 by over 5 million volunteers.
