Steuart McIntyre Dam is approaching critical levels and requires lowering. A controlled discharge is scheduled for Tuesday 19 August. This will increase flows around Fattorini Creek, but no inconvenience is expected.
Council recently upgraded the Stuarts Point Community Hall to improve access and convenience for the Stuarts Point, Fishermans Reach and Grassy Head communities.
New features installed at the hall include:
Construction began in May 2022 and was completed in September 2022.
The library reopened to the community on Tuesday 21 June 2022.
Council received funding of $114,389 for the upgrade under the NSW Government's Crown Reserves Improvement Fund and Community Building Partnership.
