Middleton Street, South Kempsey

Summary 

Kempsey Shire Council is preparing a concept plan for the Middleton Street corridor between Lachlan Street and West Street, South Kempsey.

The plan closely follows the concept developed in the One Community, One Mob plan and aims to significantly improve public spaces for the South Kempsey neighbourhood, with a focus on:

• pedestrian access and safety
• traffic movements and road safety
• landscape beautification and community-based art.

The project seeks to improve connectivity, safety and amenity in ways that support local culture and community.
