Kempsey-Armidale Road Sealing

Sealing works are set to begin on an unsealed section of Kempsey–Armidale Road as part of ongoing efforts to improve road quality and safety for users.

The project will be delivered with traffic control arranged as required to support safe operations throughout the construction period. The road will be closed to traffic from 9am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday and 8am to 1pm Saturday due to concurrent landslip repair work, traffic control measures will be in place, and minor delays may occur. Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times. 

These essential works will result in a sealed road surface that enhances safety and resilience along this important route. Council appreciates the community’s patience and cooperation while we carry out this upgrade.
