International rugby exhibition matches & skill clinics – Kempsey

World‑class rugby arrives in Kempsey on Wednesday 8 April, bringing international exhibition matches to Verge Street Stadium.

Taking place during the school holidays, the event offers a great opportunity for the community to enjoy top‑level rugby close to home, with matches kicking off at 3pm and 5pm and gold coin donation entry.

The exhibition matches form part of the Coffs Coast Festival of Rugby, welcoming international teams from Japan and Fiji, alongside Australia’s best emerging talent.

Beyond the on‑field action, NSW Rugby staff will run a free coaching clinic and a First Nations Talent ID session in Kempsey. Details will be released closer to the event.

We thank the City of Coffs Harbour for their strong support of the festival and for working in partnership to bring this event to Kempsey. Through this collaboration, our community will enjoy front‑row access to international‑level rugby close to home.

Calling Mid North Coast First Nations athletes (ages 14–18 years)

NSW Rugby Union, in partnership with Rugby Australia and the Lloyd McDermott Rugby Development Team, is delivering a First Nations Talent ID Day in Kempsey, creating clear pathways for First Nations players to connect with rugby and future opportunities in the game.
