Steuart McIntyre Dam is approaching critical levels and requires lowering. A controlled discharge is scheduled for Tuesday 19 August. This will increase flows around Fattorini Creek, but no inconvenience is expected.
Kempsey Shire Council replaced the clubhouse and installed LED lighting at the Stuarts Point Tennis Courts to provide residents and visitors with a quality facility.

Council acknowledges the support of the Stuarts Point Hall Committee and the Stuarts Point and District Community Organisation in securing funding.
Funding was secured in December 2022, and works were completed in April 2024.
The project was jointly funded by a $163,805 grant from the NSW Government’s Crown Reserves Improvement Fund and matched by Council, with a total investment of $337,610.
This project links in with Council's Delivery Program and Operational Plan 2022-2026 item of managing and maintaining Council-owned and managed corporate, commercial and community buildings, and providing and maintaining recreation facilities to support an active and healthy community.
