Steuart McIntyre Dam is approaching critical levels and requires lowering. A controlled discharge is scheduled for Tuesday 19 August. This will increase flows around Fattorini Creek, but no inconvenience is expected.
Council’s Delivery Program(PDF, 812KB) is a key component of the Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP&R) framework, translating the long-term aspirations of the Community Strategic Plan into actionable commitments over the current four-year council term. Following a period of planning and development, the current Delivery Program was adopted by Council in June 2025.
The Delivery Program is supported by a comprehensive Resourcing Strategy, which includes a Long-Term Financial Plan (LTFP)(PDF, 1MB), a Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP)(PDF, 2MB), and a Workforce Management Plan (WFMP).(PDF, 500KB)
Together, these plans ensure that Council has the financial sustainability, asset infrastructure, and workforce capability necessary to deliver on the commitments identified in the Delivery Program.
The Delivery Program is reviewed each year alongside the Operational Plan(PDF, 789KB) to see how things are tracking and make sure Council is responding to any new challenges or changing community needs. While it’s usually only formally updated once every four years in line with the Council term, it can be revised earlier if significant changes come up that need to be addressed.
