More remediation landslip works on Armidale Road

Making travel on Armidale Road safer continues with more landslip remediation works coming up on a site just west of Nook Creek Road.

From Monday 28 November, Kempsey Shire Council and Pan Civil will be on site to begin drilling anchor points, preparing the slip site for rock bolts installation.

Single-lane traffic is set up on this section of Armidale Road. Two-lane traffic is expected to reopen by March 2023, weather permitting.

Council has received Transport for NSW funding for the works under the NSW Government's disaster relief arrangements to remediate five landslips on Armidale Road near Bellbrook in the Macleay Valley hinterland.
